After 15 years as a professional rugby player, Tommy Taylor brings a wealth of personal experience and transferable high-performance insights into Leading Edge Performance. 

His role as Account Manager & Performance Adviser gives him an unparallelled opportunity to connect with leaders and decision makers who are seeking performance gains for themselves and their own organisations, and to bring to life the unique and tailored support that Leading Edge Performance offers.

Tommy’s professional rugby career with Sale Sharks, Wasps and for England Rugby, has seen him travel the world, playing in high pressure contexts and being an influential leader in numerous performance environments. As Captain at Sale Sharks and at Wasps, Tommy developed a keen interest in how high-performance environments are created, maintained, and improved.  He believes that at the heart of high-performance is a determined focus on both wellbeing and performance – at the same time!

Beyond playing, Tommy has spent two years coaching national league rugby, gaining promotion in both seasons. Coaching in these environments has seen Tommy further develop his own understanding of leadership and in-depth knowledge of the characteristics required to support teams and help them achieve their goals.
